Testosterone Propionate general information:

Testosterone is the main male sex hormone. It is mainly responsible for producing male-specific traits. When synthesized, it is typically attached to the ester to delay its release into the body. Testosterone propionate is the shortest ester attached to testosterone. This means that your body needs the least time to get rid of the ester and release the parent hormone into the body. Due to its short active life, testosterone propionate usually needs to be injected at least every other day. Interestingly, testosterone propionate leads to minimal side effects and minimal bloating; these side effects usually fade rapidly when used to stop.

 Pharmacological effects:

Testosterone is responsible for promoting health and well-being by enhancing libido, energy, immunity, increasing fat reduction, gaining and maintaining lean muscle mass, preventing osteoporosis (loss of bone mineral density) and possible resistance to heart disease. Testosterone is also responsible for the normal growth and development of male sexual organs and the maintenance of secondary features. The secondary feature is the separation of specific traits of sex, but not the direct part of the reproductive system, such as: chest and facial hair, obvious chin, wide shoulders and increased muscle mass. Testosterone binds to the androgen receptor (AR), causing accelerated muscle increase, reduced fat and muscle repair and growth. These mechanisms are stimulated by activating androgen receptors (either directly or indirectly as DHT).

Testosterone propionate is white crystalline or white crystalline powder at room temperature, odorless. It is insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol or ether, slightly soluble in vegetable oil, soluble in chloroform. Its pharmacological effects are similar to methyltestosterone, but slightly stronger than the latter. It is easily damaged by oral administration by oral administration, so oral administration is ineffective for testosterone propionate. The oil solution is usually intramuscular injection, absorption is slow, its role is strong and durable, can be maintained for a few days. Testosterone propionate can promote male organ development and secondary features, promote protein synthesis and bone formation, and estrogen, inhibit endometrial growth and ovarian and pituitary function. The product is first converted to 5α-dihydrotestosterone in vivo and then bound to the cell receptor to enter the nucleus and act with chromatin to activate the RNA polymerase and promote protein synthesis and cell metabolism. In addition, testosterone propionate can stimulate erythropoiesis and erythropoietin differentiation. Although oral testosterone propionate can be absorbed, but it is rapidly damaged in the liver, it is usually used by intramuscular injection. Intraperitoneal injection of testosterone propionate was slower and delayed for 2 to 4 days. In the blood, 98% of the testosterone and sex hormone globulin combination, only 2% of the free form. Half-life of 10 ~ 20min. Testosterone in the liver after inactivation, the metabolites are DHEA, DHEA and the original bile alkyl ketone. Testosterone propionate is actually my favorite injectable testosterone. Interestingly, this is because in my own and other users, this short-acting ester seems to produce much less water-saving and faster start-up gains. The only drawback of this particular form of testosterone is that it must be injected frequently, and many users (including myself) prefer to be injected at a dose of about 100 mg every day or every other day.

One of the most interesting things I personally found when testing my testosterone propionate is that when I use it at 100 mg every other day, my testosterone levels are still at high end normal. It seems to indicate that the drug test athlete may use the same dose and still pass the doping test.
